Anita talks two Carers Misbah and Dawn about their struggles.
‘Come back to Life Again’ Misbah talks about the struggle of caring for her disabled son.
Misbah is a parent carer, who cares for her son aged 11 who has autism and dyspraxia. The day-to-day struggles of caring for a child with additional needs place a lot of stress on the whole family. They have had to fight for respite support to allow Misbah to spend time supporting her other children, as the strain of being a parent carer and also feeling the effects on the family created anxiety within the whole family. However the support and care received from ‘Carers in Bedfordshire’ has helped Misbah, she now has great help hope for her future.
